Siebel 8.1: How do you run a Dedicated Client and a Web Client simultaneously in IE11?

Hi guys,

We have implemented Siebel 8.1.1.9 in a Win 7 x64 environment and due to are now required to upgrade our client desktop browsers from IE8 to IE11.

This doesn't pose an issue for standard users who only connect into the web client, however our development team need to be able to run a web client and a dedicated client at the same time, or multiple dedicated client sessions.

You can successfully run a web client after starting a dedicated client, however you cannot start a dedicated client when already running a web client and you cannot run multiple dedicated client sessions.
