Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. oracleasmlib fails on patching of RHEL5 server to 2.6.18-407.

The link (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/linux/downloads/rhel5-084877.html#oracleasm_rhel5_amd64) from where we use to download the oracleasm drivers are missing with stuff (oracleasm driver: oracleasm-2.6.18-407); only available packages there is oracleasmlib and oracleasm-support. So, we are running the red hat oracles with the old kernel of 2.6.18-406.
