i had a call with oracle yesterday and they informed me that 12.1.0.2.6 is a major update to be released late February.  what i was told is the OS is getting updated to linux 6 and 12.1.0.2.5 is a prerequisite.  if anyone has more details please share, but probably best to wait for the note.  just throwing this out there so you can help plan for your organization.
