9.2 Grants: How Project ID "Range From" and "Range To" value gets populated in KK Budget Definition

Hi,

We have enabled commitment Control for Grants. Our understanding is that when Awards are generated the Award Project ID gets populated in "Range From" and "Range To" fields in KK Budget Definition - Control Chartfield Tab. (Navigation: Commitment Control > Define Control Budgets > Budget Definition)

--- Is Finalizing the Award Project Budget is a must to get the Project ID populated in Control Chartfield tab? The Project ID should be populated even without finalizing the Budget for both Parent and Child KK Ledger Group

---- Is there a possibility that even Projects for which Budget is finalized will not show up Control Chartfield tab? In what situation?
