Stuck Serial number with status = Resides in the store enventhough SO is shipped and closed with the

Hello Gurus,

I have a situation where our MFG plant has produced the item (serial controlled) , picked , pack and shipped it. I can see the serial number in the Sales Order Details but when I check the serial number in the Inventory it has the status = Resides in the STORE and is at STAGING subinventory and locator. When I query onhand qty , it shows me the serial number available but 0 = Reserve or 0 = To transact. Any input is greatly appreciated!
