Performance issues by Products and Bundles configuration

Hi,

I want to know what extent the performance impact would be on orders and assets if products and bundles configuration is improper. Like any impact on order submission or backupdates from lower systems and OrdertoAsset/AssettoOrder.

Any document on best practices for products and bundles configuration.
