GL date shows tomorrow's date when posted after 5:30pm ???

I've seen this before but I don't recall where. The user created a Time Entry batch but did not specify a GL Date on the batch (batch type T, Doc Type TE) during the day and then at 5:36 pm posted that batch....on the R09801, the GL date shows tomorrow's date (01/13/16) but the batch date, system date and date updated shows as 01/12/16... any ideas? If they create batches during the day (same circumstances - no GL Date entered) but post before 5:30pm, the GL date matches the system, batch and updated date...
