JDE Advanced pricing amount level break

I am trying to set up a adjustment in advanced pricing that has a level break based on amount. I have defined the adjustment name with amount level break but go into the details to define it work an item and when trying to save the detail entry I get an error message for blanks invalid but I am not sure where to correct this error. The adjustment is a line levl adjustment..Is that the issue....If I change the adjustment to a quantity break all is OK

Is there any other requirements for setup to use amount level breaks?
