Purge ledger report table Data

Hi,

Is it recommended to purge data from ledger report tables (ledger_report_t, ledger_report_accts_t,etc) ?

Reason being, I have nearly 20000000+ records in these tables(very high) that is occupying a good amount of space on the database.

Also,is the data overwritten in these tables when I run the pin_ledger_report utility i.e. previous data is purged?
