Can JD Edwards handle Two stage receiving IE receive into an intransit account then into the RNI Acc

Hi all

Can receiving be done into an intransit account then into the regular RNI account in JDE?

The business requirement is to account for product that is in transit i.e on the rails or on the seas. The vendor will notify us of the ship confirmation when they ship it and the product is then received into the intransit account to account for it in the time it  takes to get to us. Is there a way to do this in JDE
