Within the requisitions form, how to auto-complete the supplier and supplier site information?

Within the requisitions form, the supplier and supplier site fields have a LOV however we would like the system to either auto-complete the name or auto show the LOV if the first letters of the supplier are entered. This is std functionality for other fields such as categories, employee names, etc in the requisition form however it's not available in the supplier field. We do not want to use ASL or SR.
