RAC vs 1 Node RAC

Hello All,

We're in the process of deciding wether to go with Active/Active RAC or Active/Passive 1 Node RAC. The initial plan was 1 Node RAC but after I joined, I've been trying to convince management that Active/Active is better just so all the hardware architecture is fully utilized.

All your advices as to why should it be one as opposed to the other are very welcome.
