Is "Oracle Essbase for BI - Oracle Essbase Release 12.2.1" the latest release of EPM Essbase?

I see that there is now "Oracle Essbase for BI - Oracle Essbase Release 12.2.1" available. Is that the latest release of Hyperion Essbase after version 11.1.2.4? Or is it an Essbase variation for use only by customers that are using OBIEE? What we are looking for is a release of Essbase that we can upgrade to from the version of Essbase that is in EPM 11.1.2.2 (or EPM 11.1.2.4).
