Disk unmount with External Redundancy Diskgroup in RAC

Hello,

I have a two node RAC 11.2.0.4 with two  Diskgroup 'DATA','FRA' with external redundancy. There are two member disks 'data_disk1' , 'data_disk2' of diskgroup 'DATA' as this diskgroup is with external redundancy may I unmount 'data_disk2' for any kind of maintenance? For example I want to delete this disk from oracleasm, format it and then create it with oracleasm and then add it into 'DATA' diskgroup is this possible with external redundancy?
