Updating Price in Pricelist using API

Hi,                                     

We have a requirement of updating the price of existing item in the Pricelist but we don't want to end date the existing line and create a new line.

We are using the API  'qp_price_list_pub.process_price_list' .

Business doesn't want to end date the existing line for the Item in the Pricelist line and create a new line , in place of that , they want to directly update the price and note the last price and update date in a DFF.

when we are trying to use 'qp_price_list_pub.process_price_list' , API is erroring out with error message as "ORA-001403-No Data Found", although when we are end dating the existing ITEM first and then we are creating a new line with new price, the API is working fine.
