Markup Type - Retail Markup

Hi All,

I'm new to RPM and need to know the below process of pricing in RPM.

When we create a primary zone group in RPM we need to mention some setup in initial price settings like

markup% and markup type

Request you to please correct my understandings for them as below markup% decides how much markup will be used for initial price settings.

like if markup type – cost markup

below calculation will be used in retail by zone screen in RMS while creating new price for an item.

Unit Retail = Unit Cost / (1 - Markup Percent / 100) * (1 + VAT Rate / 100).

The above value will be rounded as per the value of CURRENCY_RTL_DEC field in CURRENCIES table.
