Solaris SMB and IDMU/idmap

Can anyone answer why this would be happening? We have set up AD authentication on our Solaris 11.2 system, works just fine - users can log in with their AD credentials.

But when I try to turn on idmu idmapping, nothing seems to really happen. Even though the config system that idmu is turned on, all my users report 'ephemeral' method of mapping. Anyone have any suggestions?

Here's my idmap config:
