RAC Rolling upgrade

Hi

We are a little confused about this and would appreciate if someone could clarify us on this

Assuming we have a 2 node 11.2.0.2 RAC (no standby), would we be able to upgrade this to 11.2.0.4 with ZERO downtime using RAC rolling upgrade?

What exactly are the steps and sequence to perform this? Is this a zero downtime thingy or minimal downtime?

Does it work like shutting down one node and applying patch on it, bring it up and repeat on second node? But wont we have to shut down the database for applying database patch?
