how to change account type for existing code combinations

Hi All,

We have a few Code combinations that were mistakenly created with the wrong account type. Since then, the account type has been updated and fixed. In the meanwhile, there are few Code combinations that got created with the wrong account They also have balances in them.

I found a post in Oracle(Doc ID 872162.1). which tells me all that i need to do. My question is since these accounts were created on this month itslef and the period is still open, do I need to do any balance transfer, or only changing the account type through SQL update would suffice.
