Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. How to rename Inventory Item Category Codes

Can we rename the Inventory items category code values in the Segment Value table? If so,

1. how do we do it since the ID's are already generated.

2. Will it populate the new values on the existing PO's and Requisitions.

3. What effect will this have on reports?
