ACA Box 14 and effect of Life Events

In the process of testing how the ACA archive is showing offers of coverage, we have backed out life events from 2016 open enrollment through 2015 open enrollment, then reprocessed them exactly the same way.  During this, we could validate the eligibility set up for EE, EE+1, EE+Family, etc. for troubleshooting a non 1A box 14 code.

After reprocessing open enrollment for 2015 and following life events, some box 14 data has changed even though the same elections were made.

On one set of testing, we had set up a new medical plan to store a dummy "lowest rate" as we have a net rate issue with one group of employees.  The ACA archive didn't see this eligibility until we reprocessed 2015 open enrollment.

Howdy, Stranger!
