migration from non-ASM 10g Windows to ASM 11g Linux using DataGuard - how to

Hello,

I have a question regarding an Oracle database migration from non-ASM Windows 10g to 11g ASM Linux with minimum downtime.

The database if fairly large so we would like to use DataGuard Standby approach but not sure what the cross-platform non-ASM to ASM steps would be, after ,  upgrading the 10g to 11g Windows.

I found these documents (Doc ID 1371759.1) and (Doc ID 1085687.1) but not sure how to convert to ASM and configure the standby at the same time.

Any help would be much appreciated.
