12c, OL6, 64 bit - bug 19873816: TFA hangs during manual reboot of node. TFA version 12.1.0.1. Possi

The TFA process hangs the server when doing a manual reboot. The only reference I have found is for bug 19873816. This entails an addition to the oracle-tfa.conf file ( I think, although the command to do the workaround in the bug description seems a bit strange - file names & locations).

There is an error message displayed:  

INFO: task reboot:416 blocked for more than 120 seconds

"echo # > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs" disables this message

Also a Java string is shown:

(note: I broke the strings into the distinct elements for clarity.)

Please note the reference to "oracle.rat.tfa.TFAMain
