Planned Effort and Duration

Hi Team,

With regards to the Field Service module can you please help me to understand the key difference between the 'Planned effort' and 'Duration' options mentioned under the Service request's task. I am not able to finalize the actual difference between them.

I checked and found that Planned effort we can mentioned against Task type or while creating the Task Template group but who get the preference?

Secondly 'Duration' we mentioned only while creating the Task Template group so as per the system we have both be same as 3 hours , 4 hours etc.
