ILOM SNMP MIB backward compatibility

Hello Experts,

we are having a couple of T4 and T5 systems which should be monitored via SNMP (ILOM monitoring).

Are all the ILOM SNMP MIB files for new versions (i.e. of T5-4) developed w/ backward compatibility ? That said can we just use the SNMP MIB files from the latest FW (ILOM release) on the T5-4 systems even not all of them running the latest FW  ?

Actually, this is a generic question. I´m not only referring to T5.
