Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. In cash basis how Credit memo are posted to GL?

Can anyone please explain me in details (with examples if possible) how credit memos behave for posting to GL under different scenarios?
