Copying Financial element from one Financial Plan to another (Oracle Project Management)

All,

We have a requirement to copy the financial element line from a Financial Plan of a project to another Financial plan of the same project in Oracle Project Management.

Tried using Copy financial plan amount function in front end under maintain Version for a financial plan but it did not work. As this line is added manual to the 1st financial plan. It does not get copied to another financial plan.

Is there any other way to do this?
