Oracle Database 11.2.0.1 hanging

I am looking for some help in getting to the root of what is causing a database to hang.  The version is 11.2.0.1.  The o/s is AIX 6.1 with 64 gig Memory.  There are 3 databases on the server - SGA for databases 1 and 2 is 7 gig and database 3 is 14 gig.  Database 1 is the only one having issues were connections to the database are hanging.  There are web servers and app servers connecting to database 1. There is also 14 REPLICAT processes for Golden Gate running.  The database was unresponsive from 10:45 pm to 2:30
