Which user account is best for monitoring databases in 12c OEM?

Does it make a difference if you monitor your databases using 'SYS AS SYSDBA' or as 'DBSNMP'?  Our DBSNMP user account has only been granted OEM_MONITOR (has NOT been granted DBA).

Thanks for any input (pros/cons to using either account)!
