archiveadm create -z issues

attempting to create a Unified Archive for a zone via "archiveadm create -z zonename /opt/tmp/zonename.uar" but get error:
Failed to locate AI media, --exclude-media may be used.

I do not have a boot image on the publishers -eg:

InstallationLogger DEBUG  Executing: ['/usr/bin/pkgrepo', 'list', '-H', '-s', 'http://ips1:18000/solaris/', 'install-image/solaris-auto-install@*-0.175.2']
InstallationLogger DEBUG  pkgrepo list: The following pattern(s) did not match any packages:
    install-image/solaris-auto-install@*-0.175.2


I believe I need to have a iso image to create the archive and have downloaded one.
do I need to create a archive that has the global zone in it to be able to create the media via :
