Cross segment editing rules (CSER) processing is not constant and unreliable

Hi

We are using the configurator.  It started in 2002 with XE and since 2011, it’s 9.0. tool release 8.98.44

Non dynamic configured items setup are done with CSER, AIR (C, P, Q, R and X).

We have a problem that we cannot predict when it will occur or reproduce at will.

The following comes from document JDEdwards EnterpriseOne Configurator 9.0 Implementation Guide September 2008.  “Cross-segment editing rule (CSER): Logic statements that you use to establish the relationships between the segments of a configured item.  By using CSER, you can avoid invalid configurations, and end-users are less likely to enter invalid orders. The system validates the segments on the order with CSER. Error messages appear for configurations that violate the rules.”

Howdy, Stranger!
