ASMFD (ASM Filter Driver) Support on RHEL 6

Hello,

The document "ASMFD (ASM Filter Driver) Support on OS Platforms (Certification Matrix). (Doc ID 2034681.1)" says -

Patch 21053000 12.1.0.2.9 (Jun2015) is required to enable/certify ASM Filter Driver and ASM Thin Provisioning on non-Engineered System


Does it mean 12.1.0.2.9 should be applied to Grid home? If not, what is the minimum patch level what enable us to use ASMFD?

We are using 12.1.0.2.1 PSU, would ASMFD work fine with this PSU?
