Need to rename datafile in 11.2.0.4 ASM database.

Problem: Need to rename an existing ASM data file. Data file resides in correct table space and asm disk group but withwrong naming convention.

Background: Created a new ASM file in the wrong ASM disk group in a development database. Went through “How to move ASM database files from one disk group to another ? (Doc ID 330103.1)”

Current Document: How to rename/move a datafile in the same ASM diskgroup (Doc ID 564993.1)

Task: Need to rename datafile in 11.2.0.4 ASM database.

System: Two node RAC on RHEL 6.4, VERSION 11.2.0.4.0. This is a TEST database with archive log enabled to support the DBMS_FILE_TRANSFER.COPY_FILE.
