Looking for information about the little x that clears a field value
We recently went live with Tools 9.1.5.5 using Chrome 48, and now we're testing with Tools 9.1.5.5 in Internet Explorer 11.
One of our eagle-eyed testers noticed a little x appears when you click in a field. It seems that when you type in a field and then click the little x, the value you typed is cleared.
We have some questions about this cute little feature:
- What is this called, and where is this documented?
- Why does it appear in some fields and not others? (e.g. Address Book P01012 Form W01012A - Additional 1 tab - appears in Employee Group Approvals and Industry Classification, but not in Credit Message and Language) ?
