Invalid version format (non-numeric data) -perl file execution

Hi

While executing a perl script  I am getting the below error

Invalid version format (non-numeric data) at opt/portal/ThirdParty/perl/5.8.0/lib/5.8.0/i686-linux/DynaLoader.pm line 249.

This error catches in the perl file where I declared the   ' use pcmif; '   statement.

Anyone can help please?
