How to re-configure Sync Hotlog CDC after dbid changed

Hi,

This is a long-shot attempt, as I'm not sure I will get an answer I will like (I dread the words "rebuild it from scratch").

We have an 11.2.0.3 environment, using Synchronous Hotlog Change Data Capture.  We have the Capture and Propagation on 1 Database and the Apply running in another database.

I've cloned both of the databases to a non-producton environment, and renamed the DB's.

Is there a way to reconfigure the CDC/Streams components to reflect the new DB_NAME (and dbid), as I can't use the old archives to just restart capture?  I'd really like to avoid rebuilding all CDC objects again as that is very timeconsuming. I was hoping to find a way to alter the publish/subscription rules and have CDC work from the resetlogs point onwards (both DB's were restored the same timestamp).

Howdy, Stranger!
