HTTPS in siebel Webservices or encrypting username and password

Hi Team,

We are currently on Siebel 8.1.1.11 and using all web-services with clear text username and password.

But this is a security risk, so we wanted to change the way web services call send the username/password.

Can you please help us with the below questions;

1. Most of the calls we make are in oracle BI system , so if we implement SSL in BI then do we need to move Siebel also in SSL. If no, what changes we have to make at Siebel side.

2. In case we make Siebel SSL does all the calls coming to Siebel and going out of Siebel will be secured (encrypted)
