Lot divisible field not updated through API

Hi All

We are on 12.2.4

We have some Item templates that we apply for Lot controlled items, when we apply these templates manually the field, Lot Divisible (in Inventory TAB) gets checked automatically. However, when use the API to create items in bulk and pass the same template (for lot controlled items), we see that the Lot Divisible is unchecked

Does any one know the reason or faced the same issue earlier? Please advise if this is a gap in the API
