P4205 - Backorder status doubts
Hi, I hope you can help me understand this example taken from f42199.
| 16000000 | SO | 3 | 540 | 520 | 160 | KG | P4210 |
| 16000000 | SO | 3 | 565 | 540 | 40 | KG | P4205 |
| 16000000 | SO | 3 | 580 | 565 | 40 | KG | R42535 |
| 16000000 | SO | 3 | 580 | 580 | 40 | KG | P4205 |
| 16000000 | SO | 3 | 620 | 580 | 40 | KG | R42565 |
| 16000000 | SO | 3 | 999 | 620 | 40 | KG | R42800 |
| 16000000 | SO | 3,001 | 565 | 914 | 120 | KG | P4205 |
I have doubts in the next status from lines 3/3.001. What I see here is that Line 3 was ship confirmed in p4205, generating a split line because there wasn't enough quantity available to fulfill the order line,
After the split, the original line contains the backorder quantity (40) while the new line is created for the ship quantity (120). Am I right so far?
My question is, should both line 3 and 3.001 get next status 565 after p4205 like in the example?
