Mark for Translation Question

My environment was not using any language but English.  Yesterday I enabled Chinese and Japanese.  I noticed some changes immediately.  In all the configurations I've done the past few years I've never used the Mark for Translation feature.  Today I went into a screen to test out the Mark for Translation functionality.  I went to a screen layout, edited the section names and clicked on Mark for Translation.  It didn't adjust the section names.  See the attached screen shot.  Does it take a certain amount of time for the translation to be applied, like overnight?  The words involved I wouldn't
