Oracle 10.1.0.4 databases and 12c listeners

To make a long story short, I have a mixed environment with 10.1.0.4 and 12.1.0.2 databases. The 10.1.0.4 databasse can't register with the new version of the listener.

Listener log shows the following message posted repeatedly:

service_died * 1183

How can I solve this ? and I don't want to run two listeners in my environment.
