How to Display a Warning to the user from an Event Script PX

Hi,

I would like to configure an Event/Handler/Subscriber that displays a warning to the user either on Table Edit or on Change Status.  An Event Subscriber with an Error Handling Rule of "Stop" will display whatever message I throw from my script, but if Error Handling Rule is "Continue" nothing is displayed.

Is there a way to display a message to the user but allow the edit or status change to continue?  Or is my only option to send a Notification to the user?
