Patching and support for VMs created with VM Template (Eg. OEM)

There are a number of templates that are available for the ODA. I mainly interested in the Oracle Enterprise Manager - OMS template 12c now and eventually 13c when it is available. There are a number of white papers detailing how to download, install and configure them. I would like to understand how do we keep these VMs patched - Quarterly security patches for OEM, OS patches. Is there a support channel for these images similar to what we have ODA_BASE as part of the ODA package? Are there any plans to integrate support for these templates ODA support.
