Fixed Asset Project Capitalization

I am attempting to capitalize a Work Order that has a project and task associated with it. When I run the Capitalization program, the capitalization button does not become enabled. I was told that I could not capitalize a work order that had a project and task assigned, but I can't find anything that tells me this in the manual or in metalink. Is this actually the case and if it is, how do I handle these work orders since we want them capitalized?
