Sales order Inventory reservation on Work order

Is it possible to reserve the inventory for a sales order to that related  work order? i have a scenario

Scenario 1 - one or more customer ordering for an same item and there is no inventory available, sales order with W line type generate work order and comes to the finished good, but is there a way we can reserve the work order for the respective sales order?

Scenario 2 - sales order with line type 'S' and no related work order, but the individual work order submitted based on forecast and need to reserve the work order inventory for the sales order.
