How To Define Maintenance Events in Oracle Assets

We are having challenges defining maintenance events in Oracle assets. What we tend to achieve is to be able to define maintenance events like servicing of cars,painting of furniture etc.in Oracle assets and schedule maintenance events for theses assets  numbers in Oracle assets.We tried to use this process:FA>Set>Financials>Flexfields>Segments>Application:Assets>Title:Maintenance Event/Schedule,enter the context values and define the segment values(Serving of cares).When we go back to Assets>Maintenance>Schedule Events:No details is showing on the Events column.
