ADF UI Customization

Hi All,

This question has raised many times in this forum.

And the answer was Development team is working on the guidelines for the same.

As of now we have very minimal documentation as listed in http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29542_01/doc.1111/e26694/custom_skins.htm

Is there anyone customized the ADF UI based on this documentation to have an extra link in the left navigation or in the horizontal navigation bar (or any customization).

If yes, could you please tell me where to start with?
