Concatenated Field appears read-only for a single user

I have a CRM user who is unable to modify concatenated fields in the CRM from his computer.  Each time he opens up the field for edit it is greyed out as if it were a read-only field.  He's tried using his IE11 and his Chrome browsers but gets the same read-only result.

I'm unable to reproduce the issue on my computer so I had him log into my computer (also on IE11). He was able to log-in and change the concatenated field properly.

Since there is nothing wrong with his CRM settings, the problem seems to be with his computer/browser settings.  Is there some setting I'm unaware of that needs to be activated in order for the concatenated fields to work?

Howdy, Stranger!
