Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Need help to Update File Decimal of Data Dictionary (QTYINV)

One of our Client wants to update the File Decimal (not Display Decimal) on DD for DD Class QTYINV.

Oracle does not support nor provide tool to update the File Decimal for QTYINV.

They do support and provide tool to change the Display Decimal, but we do not need it here.

Is anyone aware on following ?

Update the File Decimals on DD ,*AND*
Update ALL the tables and records that already have a value

any inputs or suggestions are highly appreciated.
