Is it possible to create a link on dashboard tab 1 to go to another tab in the same dashboard?

I'd like to create a menu of sorts on the main dashboard page which can hyperlink the user to a 2nd, 3rd or 4th page within the same dashboard, but I am having trouble figuring out how to do it or finding any documentation on whether it is possible or not?  Has anyone done this before?
